Once we left Uppsala, we headed to Stockholm, we arrived in the afternoon, and Rasimus dropped us off at our hotel. We met him later for dinner at KC Artists Bar and Restaurant. He had arranged for a group of people to go out to dinner together that night. These were mostly artists who had had shows at Galleri Se Konst. Bengt's work was hanging in the restaurant. It seemed that he hadn't seen them there as of yet. Christina, who sat opposite me, told me the story of the building where we were eating. It belongs to an arts organization (of which she is a member). In the past, these were studios (possibly live-work studios). Now in addition to the restaurant, there are galleries on the upper floors. Ase, who was sitting next to Christina, is an archivist as well as being an artist. Catherine (Murphy) was struck by the fact that it seemed that all the artists at dinner had two or three children. It was explained to her that because of "free" health and dental care as well as daycare, having children was more financially possible. Because he had a three-hour drive back to Falun, Rasimus left before the rest of us. See the previous entry and the following entry.
