The Senior Studio Majors had their exhibition in an unrented floor in an office building owned by Eitan Dor in downtown Poughkeepsie. Eitan is a friend of Peter Charlap's who generously loans us the space. Daniel is actually a Neuroscience and Behavior major. By the time he realized he would have wanted to be a studio major it was too late to get the requirement done before he graduated. Daniel took many studio art courses and came to the studio critiques. The majors were pleased to have Daniel take part in the exhibition. He is the first non-major to take part in the senior show. This summer he is taking part in a sculpture program at Virginia Commonwealth University. The Feinberg Family. See the previous four entries and the following six entries.

Jacqueline was sitting behind me at the awards ceremony at Vassar College. She had graduated from Vassar in Art History in about 1984 or 5. Jessie had gotten two history awards. Erica told me her mother worked in the art department many years before (the 1950s?) and that the historians at that time were very disdainful of living artists. As some were in in the eighties when we, Peter Charlap and myself, formed the studio major.
