Title: Thanksgiving Dinner at Tom Nozkowski and Joyce Robin's, 2 of 2
Caption: Tom and Joyce invited us over for Thanksgiving. We usually go to Catherin's sister's house (Betty and Jack's) but Catherine wasn't up to the trip. This was her first night out since her knee replacement in October. We had beef tenderloin, a carrot dish, a brussel sprout dish, baked shallots. First, we had Asparagus soup. Before that appetizers. Tom opened a bottle of Dom Perignon. With dinner, we had an Argentinean Malbec, which we brought. We also brought dessert which Cathy and I made- Mutabbaq from the Jerusalem cookbook (Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi). Lots of lovely conversation about art, film, television, and critics. We also looked at some photographs taken at Casimir and Hannah's wedding that Cas had downloaded to a flash drive. See the previous entry.
