Caption: Because of a discrepancy in the date of the roll of film, I am not positive about the date of this entry. Scott and Maria were getting married on the 25th of August in Tarrytown, NY. Then they would head to Spain and Portugal for their honeymoon. We would be going to the wedding. They were going to live in Scott's apartment on 21st Street in manhattan. At the time, Scott had one more year of law school, and Maria was a librarian and would be going to graduate school at Pratt Institute. They both came over for dinner. After dinner, we played facts-in-five, which we borrowed from Jon and Joy.

Caption: Jonathan's sister Bobby was visiting with Jon and Joy. They all came over so she could see a painting of Jon's that was hanging in our house. Also, Bobby wanted to see our work. They had tea and some of Frank's (Cathy's father) homemade bread and jelly.

Caption: Elaine came early for posing so that I could take photographs f her for a modeling portfolio. Rosemary and Cathy did Elaine's make-up. Cathy and I and Elaine photographed for hours. Cathy made up the outfits and helped me with the setups. After we were done photographing, Elaine posed for Cathy and I worked on my sculpture. It was too sunny for Cathy to work on her drawing. The three of us had Chinese food for dinner. The shrimp and vegetables were leftover from Jon and Joy's dinner and beef. See the following two entries.

Caption: She is writing an article on young struggling artists for the New York Times Sunday magazine. Vivian Raynor came over to interview Cathy (Catherine Murphy) for the article. She got here at 4:15 in the afternoon and stayed until 10:00 p.m. She stayed for dinner. Vivian taped a lot and took notes as well. It got very relaxed and felt more like just someone visiting.

Caption: Jon came over to pose for Cathy, then took us and Pansy to the Vet. We went to the Morrison Animal Hospital in Paramus, N.J. where Jon and Joy bring their cats, Noodles and Lulu. Pansy had her distemper shot and round worm medicine. We also made an appointment to have her neutered. Jon said he would take me back to Paramus for the appointment. The doctor said he thinks her attacking our faces will pass. Jon posed for another hour when we came home. While I was at the store, the man from Gimbles Home Upolstery service had come to the house. He was crazy and rude to Jon and Cathy.

Caption: Neil came to pick up two books he had gotten for me from the libraray at NYU. One I had lost and one was overdue. The one I lost was out of print. So they charged me $30 for it. They were both about Akhenaten and Nefertiti. I wanted to read them before I went to see the Akhenaten exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.

Caption: Elaine came to pose. Jon and Joy came over in the morning to see the things we bought yesterday (see last entry). After Elaine posed, Jon and Joy came back and all of us went to La Isla for dinner. It was even better than the last time we were there. We had Battita Guanabana, avacado salad and an assortment of small assorted desserts, all extra and at no charge. Delicious expresso was only 15 cents. The food was terrific.
