First Catherine (Murphy) and I went to have lunch at Purcell Palmer's in Catskill. After lunch we all went to downtown Catskill to see a screening of a short film on the painter Thomas Cole, who had lived in Catskill. Karen Lucic made a presentation on a new website that she developed, with a number of student interns, for the Thomas Cole House Museum.

We (Catherine Murphy, Harry Roseman) went to Minneapolis for the opening of an exhibition at the Walker Art Center. The show is called the Quick and the Dead and was curated by Peter Eleey. On the first night, about an hour after we arrived in Minneapolis, there was a cocktail reception at the home of Annie and Peter Remes. During a conversation, I was having with Nadine. She generously offered to get us tickets for Tony Kushner's, Caroline or Change, playing at the Guthrie Theater. I appreciatively accepted. The next day she had arranged for us to pick up the tickets before the show on Saturday. (We did go and liked the play very much, the lead Greta Ogelsby was amazing).
