While we were in Massachusetts, the Pinches decided that they definitely would buy Cathy's (Catherine Murphy) painting Unmade Bed. They sent us a check and said they would come to pick it up when we got back home to Jersey City. We served them tea and bought organic carrot bread. Bari invited us to dinner around Christmas time. Our guests couldn't stay too long, which worked out fine because we had to leave twenty minutes after they did to go to Scott Burnham's for dinner, with Scott and Alison (Beall),
