A weekend food symposium was held at Vassar College. There were lectures as well as this lunch. Before lunch, Thomas Parker did an introduction for chef Bun Lai, the chef and owner of Miya Restuarant in New Haven, Connecticut. Interspersed in Chef Bun Lai's talk, we were shown a film on him called "Blind Sushi". Then, we were served invasive species sushi rolls. There were more lectures after lunch, but I didn't stay.
