2009-07-26, Sunday. Deloras, Ellen, Rackstraw, Rena, Anne 3,Anne Bogart. Rackstraw Downes, Deloras Johnson and Ellen Altfest were coming for lunch (they arrived by train). Rena Fogal and Anne Bogart were also invited for lunch (they drove up on their way upstate to Anne's house. They were much delayed because of an accident on the Taconic It turned out to be that horrible accident where a woman with four children in the car was driving on the Taconic in the wrong direction and hit another car with two or three men in it head on. They arrived after we had snacks at the pond, but in time for lunch. I gave them some food right away and then in a short time we had lunch. A late lunch - about 3:30 p.m.
