May 23, 1987. Saturday
We were visiting the cave in Louyang, Chile and Gail got quite ill and had water blisters on her hands, felt feverish and woozy. We were told that there was a well-known Qigong Nun healer visiting the caves. So in the end, after many machinations, she treated Gail for her illness. She chanted Amitaba, and rubbed Gail's hands and broke the water blisters and gave Gail an amulet. She was calm and her presence was very reassuring. She also gave Gail, through an interpreter, a list of herbs she should take. By the time the healer was done treating her Gail started to feel much much better.
